EAST SIDE ADULT EDUCATION PROGRAM
TEACHER ON SPECIAL ASSIGNMENT - CALWORKS
- FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE BASED ON STUDENT NEED
- AT LEAST 1 NIGHT PER WEEK
- Perform student-oriented tasks while adhering to Santa Clara County CalWORKS scope of services and in coordination and collaboration of ESAE staff.
- Ensure placement tests and counseling appointments are made, perform orientation, and develop timely activity plans for referred CalWORKS students.
- Monitor and verify attendance and progress of students and communicate with county.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation in student files.
- Seek, maintain, and provide information on or refer students to supportive services. Complete all required reports to sec on a timely basis, attend required meetings and training.
- May support more than one school site.
Requirements / Qualifications
A teaching credential issued by the state of California authorizing the teaching of the subject is requested. Please upload the required documents to your on-line application.
