The mission of the Loomis Union School District is to provide outstanding educational instruction so that each of our students is enabled to reach their full potential. The Loomis Union School District is comprised of seven elementary schools serving students in transitional kindergarten through eighth grade. Teachers, staff, parents and students work collaboratively to create a safe, nurturing, and academically engaging school environment in a community that strongly supports its schools.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education and Experience • Possess a valid California Teaching Credential • Possess a valid California Administrative Credential • Masters Degree from an accredited institution, preferably in administration or similar field • Five years teaching experience preferred • Three to five years of increasingly responsible educational management experience preferred • Valid California Driver's License

Placer Elementary is a warm and welcoming place where families are actively involved and our students succeed at high levels. The campus is tucked away in a quiet corner of the town of Loomis. It is a perfect setting for children to learn and grow together. Our dedicated staff serves approximately 540 students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through Eighth Grade.
