Requirements / Qualifications

The position requires a minimum of five years experience in a leadership position in a public accounting setting. The Director is a classified management level position which is key for the execution of NVUSD's strategic plan and board priorities. The position requires adaptability and a growth mindset to execute on various duties and responsibilities during a time in the education industry when fiscal services have been complicated by multiple specially funded programs and projects. The Director will be expected to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and deliver on short and long term goals while collaborating across district departments and divisions.
