Requirements / Qualifications

Education and/or Experience: * High School Diploma or the equivalent; and * 2 years of college (48 units + ), or Associate's degree (A. A.) or higher; or 2-3 years experience in a school setting working with children * Pass a local assessment of reading and math skills. Valid First Aid and CPR Certification desired. Tutoring experience a plus, and knowledge of SPED policies and processes and experience with special needs students is preferred.

If you have experience working with small groups of students either assisting a teacher or as a tutor and have an understanding of students with special needs this position is for you. Review the job description for a full list of duties and responsibilities.
