Job Summary

The Coordinator manages the integration of the adopted Student Information System (SIS) with state databases (including CALPADS), assessment platforms, and other applications. The position oversees compliance with federal, state, and local data requirements and plays a key role in coordinating all aspects of student assessments, attendance accounting, enrollment reporting, and research support. The Coordinator also provides professional development, system support, and guidance to school site personnel and collaborates regularly with school leaders, external agencies, and county offices to ensure the integrity and accuracy of all data reporting and analysis. Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Maintain and update student information systems (SIS) and related databases. Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timely input/output of student data. Create queries, upload data, and generate reports using SIS and related software platforms. Develop and format specialized forms, spreadsheets, student rosters, and reports. Monitor and resolve data discrepancies; perform internal audits as needed. Perform end-of-year rollover tasks and calendar setup. Coordinate all aspects of state, federal, and district assessments, including logistics, timelines, inventory management, and security of materials. Organize the distribution, collection, and tracking of testing materials. Train school staff on testing procedures, protocols, and reporting systems. Communicate with testing vendors and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth implementation. Interpret and remain current on federal, state, and local testing requirements and procedures. Maintain assessment data in assigned systems and ensure timely uploads and reporting. Compile, analyze, and prepare customized reports, longitudinal studies, and dashboards. Transform and process data using appropriate programming routines and tools.

Requirements / Qualifications

- Any combination of education, training, and/or experience equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade and two years of responsible clerical experience. Supplemental training or coursework in database management and information systems preferred. - Minimum of three years experience working with a current student information system is highly desirable. - Experience in an educational environment is preferred.
