About the Employer

The Fremont Unified School District (FUSD) is made up of 44 schools serving preschool-12th grade with approximately 33,000 students in grades TK-12. The District Office hosts twenty-three district level departments that serve the school sites. School sites feature many facility upgrades with vibrant libraries due to the community support of the Measure E bond. • Resume and cover letter • 2 Letters of Recommendations (within 2 years of application date), at least one from administrator or supervisor.) • Copies of ALL transcripts noting BA Degree (foreign transcripts have been evaluated for US equivalency by a CTC approved agency). Required Credential: Appropriate California Teaching Credential, EL Authorization Required (CLAD,BCLAD)

Desirable Qualifications: ? Appropriate California Teaching Credential, EL Authorization Required (CLAD,BCLAD) ? Bilingual skills preferred ? Demonstrate a high level of cultural proficiency in working with diverse school communities: teachers, students and parents ? Five years successful teaching experience ? Experience teaching various grade levels preferred ? Ability to organize time and resources ? Ability to lead groups and facilitate process for consensus ? Experience providing professional development offerings ? Demonstrate skill in working with adult learners ? Knowledge of core subject matter and materials Application Requirements: • As a condition of initial employment, all new hires must have a clear tuberculin exam within the past 60 days prior to beginning work with Fremont Unified School District.
