Job Summary
Under the direction of the Superintendent the Assistant Superintendent Human Resources / Support Services is to assist in the management of the District’s Human Resources through directing district human resource programs and services; providing advice and information to others; achieving defined objectives by planning, evaluating, developing, implementing and maintaining services in compliance with established guidelines. The Assistant Superintendent Human Resources / Support Services is responsible for developing, interpreting, managing and reviewing personnel policies and procedures. Conducts negotiations with all employee organizations. The Assistant Superintendent Human Resources / Support Services is also responsible for effectively coordinating a collaborative process between management and employees which develops working conditions and compensations that maintains an efficient and effective workforce. Performs other administrative tasks as assigned by the Superintendent.
