Extended Care Director Title: Extended Care Director Supervisor: Principal Hours:Part Time Before and afterschool hours Mission Statement: All Souls Catholic School is a diverse community working together to teach and live the Gospel message. We prepare our students, in a safe and supportive environment, to become active Christians, confident communicators, and fully integrated individuals. Our students develop the skills needed to move forward as life long learners and responsible global citizens. Position Overview/Schedule The Extended Care director will facilitate All Souls’ morning and afternoon care program. This individual will work closely with other school staff to foster a calm, supportive atmosphere where students have the opportunity to complete homework and enjoy enrichment activities. Must have early morning and afternoon/evening availability. Skills and Qualifications: Education: A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Recreation Management, or a related field is strongly preferredExperience: Minimum of 2–3 years of experience working with elementary or middle school-aged children in a structured environment (e.g., school-age care, camp, or recreation programs), with previous supervisory or administrative experience preferredCertifications: Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications (or the ability to obtain them upon hire). Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check and fingerprinting clearance

Essential Functions: Coordinate appropriate supervision of students in a safe and supportive environment.Monitor student behavior and encourage positive social skills, respect, and cooperation.Enforce program policies and school codes of conduct. Help with homework and building study habits.Manage student rosters, daily sign-in/sign-out procedures, snack distribution, and program space setup.Monitor, request, and purchase necessary program supplies within budget guidelines.Communicate with parents and school staff regarding student behavior.Handle conflicts and minor disciplinary issues calmly and professionally. Maintain adequate attendance and student records.
