VAPA -Accompanist (Part-Time up to 25 hours per week) at El Camino Real Charter High School

Job Summary
Under the direction of the Choral Director and the Administrative Director, the Accompanist provides piano accompaniment and musical support for choir rehearsals, concerts, festivals, musicals, performances, and related school events. This position works closely with choral director, VAPA staff, and students to support vocal music instruction, rehearsal preparation, and public performances while fostering a positive and professional learning environment.
Requirements / Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree, or formal coursework in music, piano performance, music education, accompanying, or a related field is preferred. Experience accompanying choirs, vocalists, instrumental ensembles, musical theater productions, or classroom instruction preferred. Experience working in a school, educational, youth, or performing arts setting is desirable.
