The Governing Board of the Latrobe School District is seeking an exceptional Superintendent/Principal to lead its TK–8 schools. The Board is committed to selecting a student-centered, forward-thinking educational leader with the vision, experience, and leadership skills necessary to prepare students to be future-ready learners and responsible citizens. The ideal candidate will foster academic excellence, support a positive school culture, build strong relationships with staff and families, and uphold the district's tradition of providing a high-quality educational experience. Individuals with a broad range of experience and expertise working with children from early childhood through adolescence are encouraged to apply. The Latrobe School District is a small, community-funded TK–8 district with two schools located in rural western El Dorado County, California, serving approximately 140 students. Established in 1865, it is one of the region’s long-standing school communities and has been recognized with multiple Distinguished School awards. The district also maintains strong student achievement, with performance levels that consistently meet or exceed state expectations. Interviews are tentatively scheduled for July 8-9.
