Requirements / Qualifications

Master’s degree in Education or a related field from an accredited college or university preferred. Three to five years of teaching and special assignment experience in special education. Professional development, leadership, mentor, master teacher or supervisor of student teachers, experience working with classroom Educational Technology integration, experience in State, Local and classroom assessment data analysis and instructional application/differentiation is preferred. Possess or be eligible to apply for an appropriate valid California Teaching Credential for Special Education. Requires a valid California driver’s license and maintain insurability. Must be able to provide your own reliable transportation to work sites within Kings County.

  • Letter of Introduction
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (One-to-three Letters of Recommendation, at least one from within the past year)
  • Resume

  • Education Specialist Instruction Credential - Moderate/Severe (Any Credential that authorizes teaching Special Education)
