Title: 5th – 8th Grade Science Teacher Supervisor: Principal Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours/week Salary Info: Salary based on Archdiocese of San Francisco Elementary Teacher Salary Guidelines, ranging from $62,194-$138,967. Salary placement is determined based on experience, education, credentials and advanced degrees and certifications. Job Description: St. Anne School is seeking a faith-filled educator for 5th – 8th Grade Science. This role is focused on helping students develop a curiosity and appreciation for science while strengthening their ability to think critically, solve problems, and work through inquiry-based learning. The teacher will maintain a supportive and structured classroom that reflects the mission of Catholic education. Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and teach, inquiry-based science instruction aligned with Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) Develop and implement engaging, hands-on, inquiry-based science lessons Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific reasoning skills Integrate Catholic values, including stewardship of creation, into instruction Maintain clear and professional communication with students and families Collaborate with faculty and participate in school meetings and initiatives Perform duties as outlined in the Faculty Handbook and assigned by the Principal
