The Resource Specialist Program (RSP) Special Education Teacher provides specialized academic instruction, intervention, and support services to students with mild to moderate disabilities in grades TK–8. The RSP Teacher collaborates with general education teachers, support staff, families, and outside agencies to ensure students receive appropriate educational services in the least restrictive environment. The RSP Teacher also supports the District’s Student Success Team (SST) and Section 504 processes by participating in meetings, implementing interventions, monitoring student progress, and assisting with the development of support plans that promote student success academically, behaviorally, and socially.
