Credential Information Applicants must possess all of the following valid, unexpired California credentials and authorizations: A prerequisite teaching credential authorizing Physical Education instruction, including one of the following: • Single Subject in Physical Education • Multiple Subject • PK-3 Early Childhood • Education Specialist Instruction An Adapted Physical Education (APE) authorization, including one of the following: • APE Specialist Credential • APE Added Authorization • APE Emphasis Credential An English Learner (EL) authorization (e.g., embedded EL authorization, CLAD, BCLAD, or SDAIE). Emergency EL authorizations may be considered.
