Reports To: Associate Superintendent of Secondary Education, Site Principal or Designee Work Schedule: As Assigned (Primarily Fall and Spring Testing Seasons) Classification: Certificated or classified - Hourly rate ($46.63) up to 40 hours plus pay from College Board/ACT for each testing session administered.

Requirements / Qualifications

Position Overview: The Testing Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the successful administration of the PSAT, SAT, and ACT national assessments at the assigned school sites. This includes test planning, coordination, implementation, compliance with College Board and ACT guidelines, and communication with students, staff, and families. The coordinator ensures a secure and smooth testing environment that upholds the integrity of all testing procedures. Preferred Qualifications: - Valid California Teaching Credential - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines - Familiarity with College Board and ACT procedures preferred - Excellent communication and leadership skills - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle secure materials responsibly - Previous testing coordination experience preferred but not required Work Environment: - This position requires early start times and availability during designated testing windows. - May require limited weekend work (particularly for national SAT/ACT test dates). - Must be able to lift boxes of testing materials (up to 25 lbs) and move between classrooms and testing locations.
