As a 1:1 Behavioral Assistant, you will provide individualized support to a student with extensive needs, helping them navigate their academic and social environment. You’ll be an advocate, a mentor, and a vital part of a collaborative team committed to student success. Requirements / Qualifications
Qualifications: -High School Diploma or Equivalent -Associate's degree OR -A minimum of 48 post-secondary semester units in child development, liberal studies or related field OR -Successfully pass a District approved Paraprofessional/Instructional Aide exam -One year experience working with disabled children in a classroom or similar learning environment. -Valid CA Driver's license -Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate issued by an authorized agency Incumbents in this class are required to complete a Non-violent Crisis Prevention Intervention training program
