The Opportunity This position offers a unique opportunity to help build a dynamic K–8 Performing Arts program alongside an accomplished Drama Teacher. We are looking for an educator whose strengths may include music, technical theatre, production, choreography, stagecraft, vocal performance, or contemporary performance experiences. Beyond performance itself, we believe the arts play a powerful role in helping students develop confidence, creativity, collaboration, and communication skills. Through classroom experiences and public performances, students learn not only how to perform, but how to present ideas, speak with confidence, and engage audiences. The successful candidate will bring expertise, imagination, and a willingness to create new opportunities for students while helping us continue to expand a vibrant culture of performance across our campus. Responsibilities Teach engaging K–8 performing arts classes that inspire creativity, confidence, and self-expression. Help students develop strong communication and presentation skills through performance, voice, movement, and public speaking. Contribute to the technical and production elements that bring performances to life. Help shape and expand performing arts opportunities based on student interests and talents. Elementary Music Teacher:

Summary: The ELEMENTARY MUSIC TEACHER is responsible for the teaching of music education to students in grades K-8.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Teach general music to grades K-8 using the established curriculum, including music theory, composer study, and music appreciation.

2. Conduct and put on spring, winter and fall performances for various grade levels.

3. Engage students with creative lesson plans and instill a passion for music. 

4. Play the piano, sing and have a basic knowledge of string and wind instruments

5. Qualifications: Candidates should hold a Bachelors Degree with emphasis in music education or music performance, or related field. Must have 3 Years classroom experience in an elementary setting.
