English Teacher Paradise Unified School District is seeking a passionate and tudent-centered High School English Teacher to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to help students develop the critical reading, writing, communication, and analytical skills they need to succeed in college, careers, and beyond. The selected candidate will engage students through meaningful literature, writing instruction, and collaborative learning experiences that foster creativity, critical thinking, and intellectual curiosity. Key Responsibility Teach engaging, standards-aligned English Language Arts courses at the high school level Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, listening, and critical thinking skills Foster a classroom environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and academic growth Use a variety of instructional strategies and assessments to meet the needs of diverse learners Analyze student data to inform instruction and support continuous improvement Integrate technology and innovative teaching practices to enhance learning Collaborate with colleagues, counselors, and families to support student achievement Encourage a lifelong appreciation for literature, effective communication, and learning We are looking for someone who: Believes all students can learn and achieve at high levels Builds positive relationships with students and families Creates an engaging and inclusive learning environment Demonstrates strong instructional and classroom
