Job Summary
Under the direction of the Chief Business Official or Superintendent, the Fiscal Specialist performs highly responsible and complex financial and administrative duties in the Business Office. Responsibilities include: oversight of local, state, and federal grant compliance, fiscal management of student programs, audit preparation, vendor and tax compliance. This position requires a high level of independent judgment, confidentiality, and expertise in governmental finance and accounting.
Requirements / Qualifications
Resume Letter of introduction Three (3) letters of recommendation Associate's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field. Or, work experience equivalent. Bachelor's degree, preferred Five years of increasingly responsible administrative and financial experience. Preferably in a school district setting. Valid California driver's license TB clearance DOJ/FBI clearance Must pass competency exam with a passing grade of C or better
