As part of a secondary teaching assigment, teaches one or more classes of science to pupils in grades 9-12; and assists in other school programs as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
POSITION AVAILABLE: SCIENCE TEACHER – DINUBA HIGH SCHOOL (9-12) QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Possess valid California teaching credential in the field of instruction. 2. Appropriate documentation authorizing instruction to English language learners. 3. A minimum of three years of successful classroom teaching experience, preferably at the 9-12 grade level; 4. Knowledge of the elements of effective instruction, curriculum concepts and materials pertinent to the 9-12 grade level;
APPLICATION PROCEDURE: A complete application packet must include the following: 1. Employment application 2. Letter of Introduction 3. Resume 4. Three current letters of reference are required. This must include two letters from a current or former supervisor and one letter from a colleague, coworker, or personal reference. 5. Copies of ALL transcript(s) and or Credential (undergraduate and postgraduate) 6. Credential or Certificate of Eligibility letter issued by your current credential program
