Position Overview Our highschool population ranges between 14-24 years of age and many are overcoming barriers such as homelessness, transitional housing, transportation challenges, mental health concerns, parenting responsibilites, employment obligations, etc. Many of ourr students enroll with CHYBA after struggling in the traditional high school setting. Poor attendance is often not a lack of motivation but a result of life's complexities. This position is about connection, building relationships and working collaborattvely with school staff, agency staff, and community stakeholders to improve student outcomes. This position requires consistency, creativity, and a willingness to positively intervene with students who have poor attendance. This person must be relational, organized, a team player who also has the ability to work independently.
