Join Big Picture Educational Academy as a Student Services Administrator and make a meaningful difference in the lives of students with disabilities! In this vital role, you'll serve as an advocate and coordinator, ensuring students with disabilities receive comprehensive support while collaborating with teachers, families, and community partners. You'll help create inclusive learning environments where every student can thrive through effective IEP coordination and individualized support services. Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: REQUIRED: Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education, Education, Teaching, or related fields (Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling). Valid California Mild/Moderate Education Specialist Credential (or equivalent Teaching/Services Credential). 3–5 years of experience in special education or an educational leadership/case management role. PREFERRED: Master’s Degree or higher in Special Education, Education, or Educational Leadership. Valid California Administrative Services Credential. Prior experience working with foster, homeless, or at-risk youth populations. KTEA Assessment Training and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Certification. LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS: REQUIRED: TB Clearance or Risk Assessment (Ed.Code 49406) Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Backgrounds Clearance(Ed. Code 44237). Valid CA Driver’s License (This position requires travel to/between BPEA sites; Required to have access to a vehicle and the physical ability to drive)
