Requirements / Qualifications
Requirements for Applying Must have a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing and one of the following: -At least 24 units in early childhood education, or childhood development, or both -Professional experience in a classroom setting with preschool age children comparable to the 24 units of education described in bullet 1 (comparability determined by the local employing agency) -Child Development Teacher Permit issued by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing Resume Cover Letter (3) Letters of Recommendation / Reference - please provide at least three Copy of Credential(s) Copy of Transcripts

Support for New Teachers: The District pays for new teacher induction. Mentors for new teachers are provided, monthly meetings with grade level leads (TK-8). Monthly departmental meetings (9-12). Wide variety of professional development opportunities.

Salary Range: $54,453.00 - $101,288.00
Salary column placement is based on BA or MA and post-graduate units. Steps within the columns are based on years of certificated service.
Additional Annual Stipends: Special Education Teachers, Speech Language Pathologists, Psychologists, Counselors, and Nurses.
Extra Hourly Pay: Additional hours paid at the rate of $52.08 / HR
Additional Opportunities: Coaching for Middle and High School Athletics and After School Tutoring.
Technology: We have a variety of technology available and students have I-pads and chromebooks. We have Canvas, See Saw and Google Classroom, Zoom, Screen Castify, I-Ready, Reflex math, Go Guardian, and all of our district-adopted curriculum is digital as well.
