The job of Special Education Paraeducator Trainer is done for the purpose/s of providing orientation, mentoring, training, coaching, collaborative planning, and professional development to individuals; serving as a resource and instructional coach for the district's Special Education staff; and working collaboratively as part of Special Education teams to support the district's instructional goals. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of five years of experience working with students in Special Education settings and collaborating with school staff, AND High school diploma or equivalent; 30 college semester units in a job-related area. REQUIRED CERTIFICATES AND LICENCES: Advanced Behavior Training CPI Training Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or equivalent
