MCS seeks a warm, reliable, and nurturing educator to serve as a Substitute Teacher, who will work primarily in our Toddler and Primary preschool programs and occasionally in our Elementary classrooms. This role supports our young students’ daily experience and learning in calm, safe, and engaging classroom environments. It is an opportunity to work alongside a talented and committed staffulty and a caring community of families. The Substitute Teacher works in different classrooms across our program levels throughout the week to cover teacher absences and helps maintain a welcoming, orderly, and developmentally appropriate environment that reflects Montessori principles. In this role, you will support classroom routines and the children’s social-emotional development, and growing independence while ensuring each child feels secure, supported, and cared for during the afternoon and evening hours at the conclusion of the school day.
