The Academy of Our Lady of Peace is currently accepting applications for a Varsity Softball Head Coach for the upcoming season. This is a seasonal interscholastic coaching position within a competitive CIF girls softball program. We are seeking a dynamic leader who will serve as a positive role model and represent OLP with integrity, energy, and a strong commitment to developing student-athletes. The ideal candidate will bring experience, passion, and a vision for building and sustaining a competitive program while fostering growth both on and off the court. This role requires a coach who values not only competitive success, but also emphasizes character development, teamwork, accountability, and sportsmanship, aligning with the mission and values of OLP. The Academy of Our Lady of Peace is looking to fill a high school coaching position within the Athletics Department. We are interested in someone dedicated to program development with coaching student-athletes and guidance with qualities of character development. Previous high school coaching experience is preferred.
Requirements / Qualifications
Prior coaching experience preferred Strong knowledge of softball fundamentals, teaching techniques, and player development Demonstrated ability to build teamwork and support the development of female student-athletes CPR/AED and First Aid Certification Applicants must submit a cover letter, resume, and two professional references from current or former supervisors. Candidates must also provide official transcripts, a current negative TB test result or TB Risk Assessment Questionnaire, complete required training, and successfully complete Livescan fingerprinting. Employment is contingent upon obtaining fingerprint clearance from the California Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Fair Chance Act Compliance: OLP will consider qualified applicants with a criminal history in accordance with the California Fair Chance Act. You are not required to disclose your criminal history or undergo a background check until after a conditional job offer has been made.
