Teaches 6th, 7th and/or 8th grade Science in a departmentalized setting; assists students in making appropriate life-style adjustments and in investigating careers and vocational choices; collaborates regularly in a Professional Learning Community with other science teachers; communicates concerning student performance with parents and with General and Special Education teachers in other curricular areas.

A valid California Single Subject Teaching Credential in Science or CTC authorization, and authorization to teach English Learners are required.
