Requirements / Qualifications
Deadline: Until Filled (First Review of Applications - June 10, 2026) SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: -Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential (Mild/Moderate, Extensive Support Needs, or equivalent) -Minimum of three years of successful teaching experience -Demonstrated exemplary teaching ability including, but not limited to, effective communication skills, subject matter knowledge, and mastery of a range of teaching strategies which meet the needs of students in different contexts -Demonstrated expertise in IEP development and compliance -Ability to Pass DOJ Background/Fingerprint Check -Tuberculosis Clearance DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: -Master’s degree in Special Education or related field. -Experience providing professional development or instructional coaching. -Strong knowledge of California special education regulations. -Experience with inclusive practices and co-teaching models. SALARY: Placement on Certificated Salary Schedule ($63,632 - $104,355) 15 years creditable experience may be accepted Master’s Degree – 2% on base annual salary Doctorate Degree – additional 2% on base annual salary National Board Certification – additional $1,000 Based on 190 workdays
