Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Special Education, provides assistance to teachers and support personnel in the appropriate placement of students with special needs; monitors the implementation of special education services; assists in program development; provides support to staff in the areas of curriculum, teaching strategies, methodology, community resource and professional development to ensure compliance with legal mandates. Assists in communication between District, other agencies and parents; supervises and evaluates assigned personnel.
