Requirements / Qualifications
REQUIRED DOCUMENT MUST BE ATTACHED TO APPLICATION: • Graduation from High School or evidence of equivalent educational proficiency, and • Completion of two years of higher education (48 semester units) or • Associate’s degree (or higher) or • Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting instruction. Official transcripts and copy of High School Diploma required within two (2) business days of offer. Candidates are required to attach a copy of their High School Diploma or G.E.D. to the employment application. TRANSCRIPT VERIFICATION: Transcripts and degrees earned outside of the United States must be accompanied by a full evaluation report from a regionally accredited foreign credential evaluation agency.

Comments and Other Information
Under supervision to perform a variety of instructional and clerical duties designed to free the instructor from routine work related to the instructional program and to allow the students to interact with the hearing world; and to do related work as required.
Experience: Informal training or experience with sign language skills preferred.
