Job Summary

Coaching responsibilities include and are not limited to the following: -Lead, mentor, and support the development of student-athletes -Plan, organize, and supervise all aspects of the athletic program in collaboration with and under the direction of the Athletic Director and Administration -Ensure student safety, supervision, and program compliance -Communicate effectively with all stakeholders; students, families, staff, and administration -Comply with all CIF, state, federal, and district rules, regulations, and policies

Requirements / Qualifications

A complete EDJOIN application must be submitted in order for applicants to be released to the hiring manager. Prior to beginning, the following must be completed: -A valid California teacher credential is preferred. Current CPR and First Aid certificates are required. -CPR and First Aid Certificate -Fingerprint Clearance (FBI and DOJ) -TB Clearance -Activity Supervisor Clearance Certificate (ASCC)/valid teaching/substitute teaching credential -National Federation High School Sports (NFHS) Trainings: -Concussion In Sports Training -Fundamentals of Coaching -Heat Illness Prevention Training -Sudden Cardiac Arrest Protocol Training Certificate Public School Works (PSW) Trainings: -Bloodborne Pathogens for School Employees - Full/Refresher (Cal/OSHA) -Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting - California -FSUSD Employee Handbook -Homeless Education - Serving Students Under McKinney-Vento -Safe and Supportive Schools Act: Modules 1 LGBTQI+ Awareness and Support (California) -Sexual Harassment Prevention in California: Modules 1 & 2 -Suicide Prevention and Response -Title IX Federal 2020 Amendments - Training for All School Employees -Workplace Violence Prevention (California) Applicants who are in possession of these requirements should upload the required documentation with their application.
