Job Summary
Under the direction of Director II: Purchasing, Supervisor IV: Purchasing Services performs highly specialized and complex analytical and technical work involving the negotiating, research, development, managing of legal contracts, and larger procurement projects. The Contract Analyst is also responsible for handling all details to ensure contracts are appropriately processed and maintained.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Education Required: An Associate of Arts Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field. Bachelor’s Degree in contract management, public administration, business administration or a related field preferred. Experience Required: A minimum of 2 years of recent technical experience in vendor contract research, development, management or negotiations and experience involving the writing of specifications and the processing of contracts, leases, Public Works bid thresholds or public contract code, real estate and purchasing documents. Licenses, Certifications, Bonding and/or Testing Required: Valid CA Driver’s License and evidence of insurability; Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance; Negative pre-employment drug screen test; Negative TB results;
