Essential Functions: Under the immediate direction of a classroom teacher, assists in the preparation and delivery of instructional materials; assists and tutors pupils individually and in small groups; operates audiovisual equipment; may take roll and keep attendance records; may operate office machines; may organize reference and resource materials; may assist in the administration, scoring, and grade recording of tests; assists teachers in supervision at assemblies, on field trips, and in the lunch and play areas.
