Requirements / Qualifications

INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY Required Certificates: California Teaching Credential/Counseling Credential California Administrative Services Credential or Certification of Eligibility for an Administrative Credential Education/Experience: A valid California Clear Administrative Credential. Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in education. Five years of successful experience in an educational setting. The assistant principal shall have the experience and skills to work effectively with the staff, district leadership team, students, parents, and community. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: EACH bulleted group below MUST be submitted before your application is considered. -California Driver's License -Administrative Services Credential or Certificate of Eligibility -Transcripts verifying Master's degree with major course work in education -Supplemental Questions Response -Letter of Intent/Introduction -Resume -Three Letters of Recommendation (dated after JANUARY 1, 2024)

As an Assistant Principal of Student Activities, you will be responsible for planning and overseeing both on-campus and off-campus events. What key factors do you consider when organizing these events to ensure they are inclusive, safe, and engaging? In addition, how would you measure and evaluate the overall success of an event? 2. Transitioning into a new school community mid-year can be both exciting and challenging. How would you acclimate to the existing school culture while building trust and relationships with students, staff, and families? What specific ideas or strategies would you contribute to strengthen the school’s culture and climate?
