About the Employer
The Guadalupe Union School District (K-8) is located on the beautiful California Central Coast, approximately 70 miles north of Santa Barbara and 32 miles south of San Luis Obispo. The city which is situated in the northwest section of Santa Barbara County has a population of approximately 7,000 residents. The District's certificated staff includes 4 teachers at Guadalupe Early Learning Center (TK), 30 teachers at Mary Buren Elementary (K-3 Self-Contained), 23 teachers at Kermit McKenzie Intermediate School (4th - 6th Self- Contained), and 16 teachers at Guadalupe Jr. High School (7th - 8th Departmentalized). DISTRICT PROGRAMS In addition to being a 1:1 school district (TK – 2nd: iPad/3rd – 8th: Chromebook), the District operates various instructional programs to support and supplement core instruction, including ASES Program, Summer School Program, Instructional Assistants, and Librarian. Valid California Administrative Services Credential A minimum of five years of experience in special education programs and two years in leadership/administrative roles preferred Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
