Job Summary
Under the immediate direction of the site administrator or designee, as part of a secondary teaching assignment, teaches one or more classes to students in grades 6-8; plans and supervises the work of assigned paraprofessionals; assists in other school programs as assigned. The current opening is for the 2026-2027 school year. The position is part-time (0.8 FTE) and includes benefits. Salary placement is based on experience/education (up to 6 years of accepted work experience relevant to the position).
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: -Possession of California Teaching credential authorizing service as a teacher in grade level(s) and/or subject area(s) assigned. -Possession of a Baccalaureate or higher degree from an accredited college, including all courses needed to meet requirements for a teaching credential authorizing service in the grade levels and area assigned. -Successful teaching experience, internship, or student teaching -Valid California Class C driver’s license
