Job Summary

The Elementary Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) provides site and district-level instructional leadership and support with a focus on ELA/Math standards, and innovative teaching strategies. This role helps build teacher capacity, improve student outcomes, and implement district initiatives across classrooms. The TOSA serves as a model of instructional excellence and a collaborator in professional learning communities.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Valid California Teaching Credential authorizing instructional service; multiple subject preferred • Minimum of five (5) years of successful elementary classroom teaching experience • Master’s Degree desirable • Bilingual Authorization and/or bilingual proficiency is highly desirable
