Job Summary
Special Day Class teacher serving elementary students in grades 2–4 with moderate to severe disabilities. Provides specialized academic instruction tailored to individual student needs and collaborates closely with paraeducators, related service providers, and school staff to ensure all services outlined in each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) are implemented with fidelity. Responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring IEP goals and progress, as well as providing supervision and support for students across special day class, general education, and community-based learning environments.
