Under the supervision of the Administrator of Educational Programs, the teacher will instruct a two-semester veterinary science course. The fall semester covers animal health careers, safety, behaviors, handling, species and breeds, anatomy, terminology, diseases, and nutrition. The spring semester focuses on advanced theory, including ethology, lab skills, pharmacology, and procedures like radiology, diagnostics, and surgery. Students will then intern at a veterinary office or similar facility for hands-on learning, with site location and hours arranged by the instructor.
