This is the second level position on the Custodial series, requiring a minimum of two years at Level I and the demonstrated ability to work independently from work orders and general instructions, to relay clear instructions to workers on other shifts, and to perform light maintenance such as changing lights, replacing filters, patching, painting, securing loose fixtures, etc. Advancement to Maintenance Specialist, Groundskeeper, or Lead Custodian positions will require additional specialization and time requirement for maintenance as well as the ability to assign work to custodians on multiple shifts.

Comments and Other Information
The District will contribute towards health benefits on a prorated basis (based on employee's work year and hours assigned). The benefit package includes options for medical, dental and vision. Medical plan options include Kaiser, Western Health Advantage and Sutter Health Plus.
$10,960 per year for Employee-only medical benefit selection.
$13,000 per year for Employee+1 or Family medical benefit selection.
