Under the general supervision and direction of the Director of Education Services or designee, the Classified Registered Nurse provides professional nursing services throughout the District, medical procedures, medication administration, medical case management, staff training, and medical triage.

The Fullerton School District is seeking a full-time Classified Registered Nurse individual. This role supports students in a school environment.
Key Responsibilities: Performing specialized health care procedures, responding to illness and emergency situations, maintaining medical documentation, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Perform medical procedures and administer first aid
- Manage and administer students' prescribed medications
- Maintain student health records and ensure data accuracy
- Support health programs and perform clerical tasks as assigned
Position Details:
- Full-time: 8.0 hours/day (7:45am - 4:15pm), 12 months/year. This is a field position, and it requires use of one's own car; mileage will be reimbursed.
- Paid holidays, sick leave, and vacation

EXAMINATION PROCEDURES
This is a merged promotional and open competitive recruitment. The examination may include a training and experience evaluation, written test, performance test, and/or structured oral interview.
To be placed on an eligibility list, candidates must pass each part of the exam. Final scores will be based on the weighted combination of all exam parts. If claiming Veteran's credit, proof of status (DD214) must be submitted to the Classified Personnel Commission Office when the application is submitted or before testing. The eligibility list will remain active for twelve (12) months and will be used to fill current and future vacancies.

The exam date(s) will be announced later. Qualified candidates will be notified by email and/or phone with the details.
