FUHSD Adult School has an exciting opportunity to develop the next generation of nurses for our region by creating the school's first Licensed Vocational Nursing program. The LVN Program Director will build on a strong foundation of healthcare pathways at the school with flexible hours in this position of 30 hrs/week, 12-month per year, with benefits. Additional hours may be available for teaching LVN classes.
Requirements / Qualifications
• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. • Hold a current California active license as a Registered Nurse. • Possess or be able to obtain a California Teaching Credential, including a California Designated Subjects Credential with subject authorization in Nursing Services or Health Science and Medical Technology, Adult Education Credential, or an elementary or secondary credential. • Meet the minimum requirements of the Board of Vocational Nursing for this position. • Possess a valid California driver’s license and a reliable means of transportation. • Requires fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation.
