Under the general direction of the principal, the assistant principal provides professional leadership and assists with managing the day to day operations of the school site, while also supporting the equity and anti-bias agenda that will enhance the school experience of all students and their families. Lead staff members, partners and community members in the pursuit of the school and district’s overarching mission of academic excellence that enhance the achievement of historically underserved students.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education, Training and Experience A valid California Administrative Services Credential A strong background of successful teaching experience, secondary preferred. Successful school leadership or teacher leadership experiences beyond the classroom is highly desirable. Desire for second language proficiency in Spanish or other language to match community needs.
