Job Summary
Under the direction of the Executive Director - Student Services (or designee), assists in the preparation of district curriculum; coordinates and implements all areas of the district’s Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and/or other intervention programs; provides coaching, professional development, and training to certificated, classified, and administrative staff; may provide training and workshops to parents/guardians or others as necessary and assists in other district programs as needed.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS: Education: Bachelor’s degree, including all courses needed to meet credential requirements of the position. Master’s degree or its equivalent preferred. Experience Required: Three (3) years of successful classroom teaching experience required; five (5) years of successful teaching preferred. Experience or training in curriculum development and implementation, and/or professional development desired; Reading & Literacy added Authorization or California Reading Specialist Certificate and/or Reading & Literacy Leadership Specialist Credential or other states’ equivalents desired.
