Job Summary
Job Summary
The Intervention Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, developing, and monitoring Student Services functions as assigned by the Director of Student Services, and for facilitating student intervention services at Highlands Community Charter and Technical Schools. This position collaborates with teachers and staff to ensure students receive appropriate support. The Intervention Coordinator oversees services that address students’ behavioral and social-emotional needs, including counseling and other wraparound supports. The Coordinator works closely with the Director of Student Services, Lead Counselors, the attendance team, and principals to support student retention, engagement, and graduation goals. Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: -Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, social work, or related field required -Master’s degree preferred. -California Teaching Credential or a Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential preferred. -Administrative Credential preferred. -At least three (3) years of experience working with diverse or nontraditional student populations in intervention, retention, counseling, re-engagement, or student support services. -This position requires regular travel between sites. A valid driver’s license, personal automobile, and proof of insurance required. ***Your application must include a minimum of 2 professional references***
