Under the direction of the Superintendent/Principal and/or designee, is responsible for implementing the district's mission of promoting a learning environment of continuous academic and personal growth. Specifically, the Intervention Teacher will plan and provide rigorous and targeted intervention instruction and support identified instruction under the direction of administration. The Intervention Teacher applies specialized expertise in ELA, math, and/or English Language Development to provide intervention instruction to TK-8 students in need of academic support. The Intervention Teacher works with the district team to plan and implement effective K-8 intervention programs, works collaboratively with teachers and paraprofessionals; monitors student progress; and delivers targeted instruction during intervention to identified students based on student data.
