Bayhill School is a small, WASC-accredited independent school in Berkeley serving students in grades 7–12 with learning differences including dyslexia and ADHD. Our students have average to above-average intelligence and thrive with creative, relational instruction, assistive technology, and teachers who genuinely invest in them. With A-G coursework and CDE certification as a non-public school, Bayhill prepares students for success in high school, college, and life. We're seeking a passionate English teacher to bring the Common Core, A-G curriculum to life in inventive and flexible ways. An Education Specialist credential is preferred; teacher interns will also be considered. Why Bayhill? Classes of 8–12 students. No caseload management. Just great teaching.
