The San Diego Unified School District is currently accepting applications for the position of Senior High Financial Clerk. This promotional / open opportunity is open to all interested candidates. This list will be active for three (3) months with the possibility to be extended. OVERVIEW: San Diego Unified School District, the second largest district in California and one of the top largest urban school districts in the United States, is looking for professionals who care deeply for students and are committed to the communities in which they serve. BASIC FUNCTION: The Senior High Financial Clerk will perform budget and financial-clerical activities in a senior high school site (including Mission Bay High School and other senior high school sites). VACANCY / POSITION SPECIFICS: Working Location is Mission Bay High School - 2475 Grand Ave, San Diego, CA 92109. Work Schedule: 11 months per year / 40 hours per week. This position is paid on the OTBS Salary Schedule. Grade 35. Positions 20 hours per week or greater qualify for District-paid health and wellness benefits for the employee and their eligible dependents. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination of training, experience, and/or education equivalent to formal bookkeeping or accounting training, and four years of recent, full-time equivalent, paid bookkeeping or fiscalclerical experience. Four school years (40 full-time equivalent months) is acceptable.
