San Luis Coastal USD is seeking a passionate Special Day Class (SDC) Teacher for our Early Learners. This position supports our youngest learners with IEPs through a play-based, language-rich, and highly structured setting focused on early communication, foundational skills, and social-emotional growth. The ideal candidate is warm, collaborative, and committed to partnering with families and service providers to help every child learn, connect, and thrive. Must possess, or be eligible for a CA Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) credential.

If you are in the process of completing your credential, please provide a letter from your university detailing your current status and expected conferral date. If you are from out of state, please attach a copy of your out-of-state credential. An English Learner authorization is required. Candidates without the English Learner authorization will be required to complete an application for an emergency CLAD certificate upon hire.
