Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic, compassionate, and skilled Math Intervention Teacher to support students in grades K–7 across a range of mathematical abilities. This position includes working both with students who are struggling in math and students who are excelling and ready for advanced enrichment opportunities. The ideal candidate is able to differentiate instruction, build strong relationships with students, collaborate with classroom teachers, and create engaging, individualized learning experiences that help all students grow in confidence and mathematical understanding. Responsibilities -Provide targeted math intervention for students who need additional support in foundational math skills. -Design and facilitate math enrichment opportunities for advanced learners. -Assess student needs using formal and informal data to create individualized or small-group instruction plans. -Collaborate with classroom teachers to align intervention and enrichment support with grade-level curriculum and standards. -Track student progress and communicate growth with teachers, administration, and families as needed. -Create a positive, encouraging, and engaging learning environment. -Support students in developing mathematical thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence. -Differentiate instruction to meet a wide range of learning styles and abilities. -Participate in faculty meetings, planning sessions, and professional development as appropriate. Qualifications -Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or related field. -Teaching credential preferred (Single Subject Teaching Credential) -Experience teaching elementary and/or middle school math. -Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and intervention strategies. -Ability to work with both struggling learners and advanced students. -Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. -Passion for helping students develop confidence and success in mathematics
